X-Edge Viper BLACK Series
Highly polished tool designed specifically for achieving the best possible edge finish on aluminum while maintaining a high feed rate.
The “Black Series” tools are DLC coated (diamond-like coating) to provide low friction dry cutting of aluminum. Viper Black DLC coated tools are corrosion resistant and have self lubricating properties which also allow them to be a longer lasting alternative to the standard Viper series tools.
A Viper Single Flute like this one is designed for use on all grades of aluminum, ACM, wood, and many other materials. This single fluted version excels in 3003 aluminum or when cutting thin sheets as to reduce part lift.
NOTE: Use 2-fluted Vipers for 50-51 & 60-62 or harder aluminum.
For best results, use with Liquid-X™ Misting Fluid and use edge finish pass of .01″ on aluminum.
